Where Should We Move?

Posted by lemontartlet on February 12, 2008

Now y’all, your help would be a good thing. In about a year and a half, D and me will be moving out of Florida. After a lot of research, we’re down to a handful of states that we like the sound of. Rural is what we want, somewhere we can have a little farm and a few animals to support us, and somewhere that he can commute into work (he doesn’t mind driving at all). Self sufficiency is a big thing for us, and we want somewhere with nice land and a low cost of living, preferably small town.

If y’all had to pick one of these states for us, which would it be and why?

North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Montana, or Wyoming
