I’m Leigh, a 33 year old redneck girl currently living in the sunny (and very breezy) Tampa Bay, Florida. Every day is spent with the most gorgeous (and tallest) man I’ve ever met, and our obnoxious kitten Pi. I’m a home maker and a wanna be artist, who spends my time trying to improve my cooking and domestic talents and trying to learn many traditional and self reliant skills. The hobby I’m most passionate about is bread baking, with running my mouth on the phone and in chat coming a close second. Cupcakes and me have a close relationship, and will probably get hitched in Vegas real soon. Anything else y’all wanna know, ain’t no reason to be shy! Come talk my ear off!

Tartlet-
I have visited your blog several times now, and have enjoyed it. I have decided to take the plunge; join the “TWD” group and try to get a blog up and running. While I do these first challenges and await the delivery of my very own copy of the cookbook, I was wondering if you could tell me how to participate in the monthly “TWD” bake-off? I tried the “TWD” web site but it seems she is prepping for surgery and I am a bit excited to get started. So, if you could help I would greatly appreciate it.
